How Can You Live Forever?

Did you know that there is a way that you can live forever?
--WHAT? You mean that there is actually a way that I can live forever?
Yup, that's right. I know of a way that you can live forever! You know what's best about this way?
--What?
It's free to you and doesn't cost a cent!
--What do you mean, doesn't cost a cent? Everything has a price!
Well, there is no cost to you. It's kinda like this website. The webmaster has paid for this system and spent many hours setting it up. He has made sacrifices so that you can enjoy it! You see this is very similar to the way that God can give you eternal life. You see, God gave his Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross. He was nailed to the cross of Calvary, and a sword was thrust into his side. He did all of this for us--to die for our sins. You see, someone had to pay for our sins. Just like when someone commits a crime, it must be paid for. Jesus Christ paid for your sins and my sins too.
The Bible says in John 3:16; "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotton Son, that whosoever beliveth in him, should not perish, but have EVERLASTING LIFE."
--But I can get to heaven by being good, can't I?
A lot of people have this preconceived notion but, the Bible says there are no good people. In Romans 3:10, it says; "As it is written, there is none righteous (good), NO NOT ONE!" It also says in Romans 3:23; "For ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God." That means me and you, no one is perfect. You see, sin entered the world when Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. (See Genesis 3) Since then, everyone is born with sin in their heart. This sin is what keeps us out of heaven.
--So what's the big deal, so I sin a little, what's the punishment?
First of all, one sin is enough to keep you out of heaven and Romans 6:23 says "For the wages of sin is DEATH (in Hell), but the gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord." The result or punishment for our sin is to be separated from God forever in a lake of fire (Hell). However God loves us so much that he provides a way for us to be saved from destruction. He paid for our sins with his own blood when he died on the cross. The Bible says; "The blood of Jesus Christ His son cleanseth us from all unrighteousness. He offers eternal life to us if we just ask Him.
--Great, that sounds good, so what do I have to do?
Romans 10:9-11 says; "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For scripture sayeth, Whosoever believeth on Him, shall not be ashamed.
Romans 10:13 - For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved. All you have to do is ask the Lord to come into your heart and you will spend eternity in heaven with Christ! Wouldn't you like to know for sure that you will go to heaven when you die?
--YES, I would!
Here is how you can do this. I can give you the words to say, but you must mean them in you heart as you pray them.
Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and I believe that you died on the cross for me. Please forgive me for my sins and come into my heart and save me. Thank you Jesus. Amen!

Yes and now that you prayed that prayer, you should read the Bible and pray everyday to grow in the Lord. You should also seek out a good Bible believing church to attend so you can grow and find fellowship and guidance from others.
